Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal and operational data MarginPilot collects, how it is used, and how merchants can contact us with privacy questions.

1. Data we collect

Contact and lead dataName, work email, store URL, provider choice, plan interest, and messages submitted through forms.
Workspace and operational dataDispute counts, onboarding inputs, case metadata, workflow events, and audit-trail activity needed to operate the service.
Provider and billing metadataProvider authorization state, merchant identifiers, subscription identifiers, invoice references, and billing events.
Attribution and website dataLanding page, referral context, UTM parameters, CTA clicks, and similar first-party analytics used to measure site performance.

2. How we use data

  • Operate the risk-scan, demo, onboarding, workspace, and billing flows.
  • Support provider connections and verify activation readiness.
  • Send transactional emails or respond to support, sales, and compliance requests.
  • Measure product usage, page performance, and conversion quality using first-party events.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, or billing mismatches.

3. How data is shared

We share data only with service providers and platform partners needed to operate MarginPilot, such as hosting, billing, analytics, customer support, and provider authorization partners.

  • Paddle processes subscription billing and acts as merchant of record where applicable.
  • Cloudflare provides hosting, network delivery, and runtime infrastructure.
  • Shopify or Stripe may receive merchant and callback data during authorized provider connection flows.

4. Retention and security

We retain data only for as long as it is needed to provide the service, satisfy legal or billing obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security records, and support reasonable backup and audit practices.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect service data, including access controls, secret management, and server-side handling for sensitive provider and billing credentials.

5. Your choices

  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, subject to legal and billing obligations.
  • You can stop future marketing communication by contacting us directly or using any unsubscribe flow we provide.
  • You can cancel the service before renewal as described in the Refund Policy.
