Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of MarginPilot through `getmarginpilot.com`, related product surfaces, and approved billing flows.

Effective date: March 10, 2026

1. What MarginPilot provides

MarginPilot provides software to help merchants review dispute operations, organize evidence, model recovery impact, and manage chargeback workflows for supported providers such as Shopify and Stripe.

MarginPilot is a workflow and analytics product. It does not provide legal advice, financial advice, or a guaranteed chargeback win rate.

2. Eligibility and account use

  • You must use the service on behalf of a legitimate business or organization.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data, store URLs, provider selections, and billing contacts you submit.
  • You must keep onboarding, provider authorization, and workspace access information secure.

3. Subscription, billing, and renewal

  • Public list pricing is shown on the Pricing page.
  • Subscription fees, renewals, and cancellation handling are described on the Billing Transparency page.
  • Payments are processed by Paddle or its affiliates as merchant of record for applicable transactions.
  • Unless otherwise stated in writing, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled before the next billing date.
  • Refund handling follows the published Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

  • You may not use MarginPilot to violate provider rules, payment network rules, or applicable law.
  • You may not interfere with the service, reverse engineer restricted components, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • You may not upload content or evidence that you do not have the right to use.

5. Product changes and availability

We may improve, modify, or remove product features to maintain reliability, security, provider compatibility, or billing accuracy. We aim to provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect core paid use.

6. Warranties and liability

MarginPilot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, guaranteed recovery outcomes, or guaranteed compatibility with every merchant workflow.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MarginPilot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data arising from use of the service.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if the service is used in a fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful way, if fees remain unpaid, or if provider or platform rules require us to restrict service.
